Shane holds a Master's degree in organic chemistry and has first-hand industry experience with drug research, design and synthesis. He is an internationally recognized authority on therapeutic nutrition and author of Health Myths Exposed and The Hidden Truth About Cholesterol-Lowering Drugs. He understands that Americans want and deserve education rather than prescription drugs.
Abandoning his career as a medicinal chemist, he is dedicated to stopping prescription drug hype from perpetuating a reliance on symptom management, often with grave consequences, rather than fostering good health. With his keen ability to sift through scientific literature and weed out fact from fiction, Shane has empowered thousands to assert their health freedom by saying "no" to prescription drugs. He is lead scientist for HealthFX Nutraceuticals, developer of the SafeTaste Certification (TM) seal, contributor to the award-winning documentary by Gary Null and Associates entitled Prescription for Disaster, and a member of The International Network of Cholesterol Skeptics.
